EMERGESM. Noia practical experience began by self studying English using a practical book starting about 1947 in a small Azores island called 'Flores'. He moved to another island called Terceira where the USAF was located , and still is in Lajes Field Azores' where he got a job due to his English language knowledge.
While Gaining 'on - the - job' Innovative Training Experience, eventually was promoted to chief accountant Air Force (USAF) first in Lajes Field Azores until 1968 and after in Goose Bay Labrador, Newfoundland until 1976, the year operation was closed in Goose Bay. Using Operating Procedures (OP) and direct step by step on- the - job training M. Noia prepared employees for the workforce. His duties included practical training of people without field background to perform professional jobs, thus step by step experience to apply later to the innovative learning methodology 'Coach- As - Teacher' for continuing education was learned by experience.
When USAF closed operation in Canada M. Noia had just graduated by correspondence as 'Registered Industrial Accountant (RIA) - now CMA' and moved to Toronto, Ontario Canada. He decided to establish a small accountant practice for small business. Having studied much theory as RIA M. Noia saw the need to write two practical books ' A Canadian Taxation Book/Manual' and 'A step by step Bookkeeping Book/Manual'.
After completing the taxation concise book M. Noia met University of
Toronto Professor Harrison through his accounting practice and asked him
to edit the book for him and as a result Professor Harrison recommended
using books for education courses and wrote Preface. Likewise when M. Noia
completed the accounting and bookkeeping book or manual he met a Chartered
Accountant (CA), who reviewed the step by step book and wrote History.
Thus the group courseware applying a self or assisted learning methodology

To make History shorter M. Noia opened a testing classroom together with his accounting practice in a commercial location. Working in his practice part time and off duty M. Noia researched, developed (R&D) and wrote one text at a time, then tested each text using workers displaced from workforce over 45 years old through an Ontario program, now defunct, called 'Futures'. Testing revealed that the coach-as-teacher methodology was excellent and that students learned continuously and enthusiastically to arrive at verifiable results in the step by step texts or computer screen.
